How to do it

  1. Place your feet on an elevated surface and your hands on the floor.
  2. Form a straight line from your head to your heels.
  3. Lower your body by bending your elbows to bring your chest toward the floor.
  4. Keep your core tight to avoid arching your back.
  5. Push to return to the start by extending your elbows.
  6. The higher your feet, the more the upper chest is loaded.

Common mistakes

  • Arching the lower back with the feet elevated
  • Letting the head drop below the line
  • Doing half reps without lowering the chest
