How to do it
- Stand with a dumbbell in each hand and a neutral grip.
- Curl one dumbbell diagonally toward the opposite shoulder.
- Keep your elbow close to your body throughout the range.
- Squeeze at the top near the opposite shoulder and lower under control.
- Alternate arms or complete one side before switching.
Common mistakes
- Letting the elbow flare out as you cross
- Swinging the body
- Rotating the wrist on the way up
