How to do it
- Stand in a split stance with a dumbbell in each hand.
- Set one leg forward and one back, both on the floor.
- Lower by bending both knees until the rear knee nearly touches the floor.
- Push through your front heel to rise without moving your feet.
- Complete your reps on one leg before switching.
Common mistakes
- Moving the feet between reps
- Leaning the torso forward
- Loading the rear leg too much
